Xfer Records - Serum incl SerumFX 1 35b1 x86 x64 Unlocked-r4e

WHY USE SERUM?

The dream synthesizer did not appear to exist: a wavetable synthesizer with truly high-quality sound, a visual and creative workflow-oriented interface that makes creating and altering sounds enjoyable rather than tedious, and the ability to "go deep" when desired - to create / import / edit / morph wavetables and manipulate these on playback in real-time.

EASILY IMPORT YOUR OWN AUDIO / CREATE CUSTOM WAVETABLES

Serum includes a Wavetable editor, allowing you to create your own wavetables in a variety of ways. Import audio directly from audio files - Serum has a number of methods and options for breaking down audio into individual waveforms. Of course, you can import single-cycle wavetables as well as many at once (with in-built sorting options, or manual re-ordering). Using standard linear interpolation (crossfading) or harmonic/spectral morphing, morph between different wavetables. Draw directly on the waveform, using a variety of shape tools and optional grid-size snapping. FFT can be used to generate or modify waveforms (additive). Using formula functions, you can create or process waveforms. Other tasks can be completed using the processing menu options.

FILTER TYPES

Serum includes all of the filter types found in LFOTool, as well as a few new ones. Flangers, Phasers, and Comb filters can all key-track to the musical note you're playing. Dual filter types allow you to control or morph between different filter types. Get creative with atypical filter processes like downsampling, or with unique filter types that have never been seen before, like the dirty-sounding French LPF.

ADVANCED UNISON

Serum allows you to use up to 16 voices by stacking a single oscillator. Each wavetable oscillator has a number of advanced unison parameters. Stack settings enable note (e.g., octave) layering to produce a fuller sound with a single note-press. Set the Unison WT Pos control to have all unison voices have their own waveform at the same time, or have them all skewed in a different way with the Unison Warp control. A variety of unison tuning modes per-oscillator allow you to achieve the desired stack sound, such as blooming or swarming.
